You are listening to part of the Salem Choral Society's recent premiere of the oratorio, Jesus, Son of Our Father, which premiered March 6, 2010 at the Jefferson Center in Roanoke.  SCS Conductor Aaron Garber is the composer and SCS singer Richard Bansemer is the librettist.

The Salem Choral Society began on September 11, 2001.  In our nine seasons, we have sung in front of thousands of people in a variety of concerts and venues.  The music we perform is varied and includes classical, pops, Broadway, Christmas, and jazz.  The Salem Choral Society has premiered five major works, all with full orchestra accompaniment, in our nine seasons.
